Part 2: The billionaire froze the moment he saw the maid drop to her

The deafening shatter wasn’t a window. It was the crystal wine glass slipping from the estate manager’s trembling hand, exploding across the marble stairs.

Victoria’s phone instantly began vibrating violently in her pocket. One notification after another. Offshore accounts drained to zero. Cayman trusts liquidated. Her entire stolen empire evaporated in seconds.

“Destroy everything” wasn’t a threat. It was an execution code.

“You’re insane!” Victoria shrieked, her arrogant facade crumbling into panic. “I have the master ledgers! The encrypted drives! If I go down, I’m taking your entire company with me!”

On the floor, Alejandro held his wife tightly. But Elena wasn’t crying anymore.

The terrified, broken maid vanished. Elena slowly stood up, brushing off her knees with chilling composure. She looked down at the dark, murky liquid she had been so frantically scrubbing.

“You mean these drives?” Elena asked, her voice steady and ice-cold.

She reached into the metal bucket and pulled out a dripping, melted mass of plastic, microchips, and wires. The dark puddle wasn’t dirty water. It was industrial-grade corrosive acid.

Victoria’s face drained of color, realizing the horrifying truth.

Elena hadn’t been kidnapped. Three years ago, when she discovered Victoria was orchestrating a massive shadow-syndicate using Vargas Industries’ servers, Elena knew going to the police was useless. Victoria had them bought.

So, the billionaire’s wife faked her own death, only to return wearing a maid’s uniform. She endured three years of humiliation, scrubbing floors and taking abuse, just to map the mansion’s blind spots and breach the subterranean vault even Alejandro didn’t know existed.

She was never the victim. She was the Trojan Horse.

Alejandro wrapped his coat around his wife, flashing a ruthless smile at the ruined woman on the stairs.

“Like you said, Victoria,” Alejandro whispered. “She’s just the staff. And she just took out the trash.”
