Part 2: The billionaire’s maid was about to serve dinner… until on

Maya scrubbed the estate floors, believing she was entirely invisible.

She wasn’t.

For three months, Chloe—the spoiled Vance heiress—deliberately made Maya’s life a living hell. Knowing Maya was desperate for rent, Chloe demanded the struggling maid serve at every high-society gala, forcing her into a drab grey uniform just to flaunt her own power.

But Chloe made one fatal miscalculation. By keeping Maya close to mock her, she put Maya directly in Eleanor’s line of sight.

Tonight was the annual Vance Gala. Under gold-leafed ceilings and the warm glow of massive crystal chandeliers, a sea of black-tie elites watched as Eleanor stepped up to a black microphone stand. She was radiant in a silver sequined gown and heavy diamonds. Chloe stood to her left in a diamond tiara, practically vibrating with greed.

Maya stood in the background, quietly weeping from yet another night of Chloe’s cruel exhaustion.

The grand ballroom fell dead silent.

“My empire,” Eleanor announced, her voice ringing with deliberate, icy authority, “goes to my true daughter.”

Chloe beamed a sickening, triumphant smile. She placed a gentle hand on Eleanor’s arm. “Thank you, mother.”

Eleanor didn’t smile back. She violently snapped her head toward Chloe, her expression instantly freezing into absolute disgust.

“Not you.” Eleanor roared, pointing into the background. “*Her.*”

Maya’s face twisted in pure shock. Sobbing openly, the maid stumbled forward and threw her arms around the billionaire. Eleanor held her fiercely, a twenty-five-year void finally filled.

Behind them, Chloe’s smug face melted into ugly, open-mouthed horror.

“What are you doing?!” Chloe shrieked hysterically. “Then who am I?!”

Eleanor released Maya and locked eyes with her fake daughter. Her gaze was ruthless, stern, and entirely vengeful. She whipped a brown manila envelope into the air.

“You are a fraud. And here is the DNA to prove it,” Eleanor sneered, shoving the envelope toward the cameras. “You knew she was my blood, Chloe. You hired her to keep her under your boot. But congratulations—you just handed my empire back to its rightful queen.”
