Part 2: The billionaire’s maid was about to serve dinner… until on

Maya stayed invisible for exactly three weeks.

She scrubbed marble floors and polished chandeliers, never speaking unless spoken to. Until the afternoon she accidentally shattered a glass in the library, slicing her hand.

Eleanor Vance rushed over to scold the clumsy maid—but froze.

There, on Maya’s bleeding palm, was a rare, star-shaped birthmark. The exact mark Eleanor’s newborn had twenty-five years ago.

A secret DNA test was rushed to the lab.

Now, on the night of the Vance Jubilee, the grand ballroom glittered. Chloe stood center stage in a diamond tiara and a silver sequined gown, radiating absolute entitlement.

Eleanor stepped up to the black microphone. The room fell dead silent.

“My empire goes to my true daughter.”

Chloe beamed, her voice dripping with sugary expectation. “Thank you, mother.”

Eleanor’s head snapped toward her. Her eyes were absolute zero.

“Not you.”

Eleanor thrust her finger past the sea of tuxedos, pointing directly at the edge of the room.

“Her.”

The crowd parted. Maya stood trembling in her gray uniform. Tears streamed down her face as she stumbled forward, collapsing into Eleanor’s tight, desperate embrace.

Chloe’s jaw dropped. Panic shattered her perfect mask.

“What are you doing?” Chloe screamed, her voice cracking with hysteria. “Then who am I?!”

Eleanor glared at her. She raised a plain brown envelope high into the air.

“You are a fraud,” Eleanor declared with lethal precision. She shook the envelope once. “And here is the DNA to prove it.”

Chloe backed away, trembling.

But Eleanor wasn’t finished. She leaned in, her voice dropping to a vicious whisper meant only for Chloe.

“I know you found out the truth last year,” Eleanor hissed. “I know you secretly bought Maya’s diner just to shut it down. You tried to starve my real daughter in the streets to protect your throne…”

Eleanor smiled, cold and victorious.

“…and all you did was force her to come home.”
