Part 2: The dojo was silent. Not the peaceful kind. The dangerous

Forward.

Right into his strike zone.

Grant unleashed a devastating right hook.
Meant to intimidate.
Meant to end it.

Mia didn’t block.
She slipped beneath his arm like smoke.
No wasted motion.
Just perfect, terrifying geometry.

She pivoted, driving her heel sharply into the back of his lead knee.
At the exact same millisecond, her open palm struck upward.
Not at his face.
But buried deep into the brachial plexus—the nerve cluster beneath his shoulder.

A sickening *thud* echoed off the mirrors.

Grant’s nervous system short-circuited.
His massive frame seized.
His leg gave out entirely.

He crashed down.
Both knees slamming hard into the white mat.
His jaw dropped open, gasping desperately for air his paralyzed diaphragm wouldn’t pull.

Agony.
Shock.
Instant, total defeat.

Mia stood perfectly still in the center of the mat.
Barefoot.
Hands already lowering from her guard.
Her breathing hadn’t even changed.

The dojo was paralyzed.
Nobody moved.
Nobody blinked.

**”She changed the whole dojo with one move,”** a senior black belt whispered, his voice cracking in the silence.

Grant knelt before her, trembling, clutching his numb, useless arm. The arrogance was completely gone from his eyes, replaced by pure terror.

**”How…”** Grant choked out, coughing. **”Who taught you that?”**

Mia looked down at the giant who had made her mother cry.
Her expression remained cold.
Unforgiving.

**”You did.”**

Grant stared, uncomprehending.

“My mother cleans this floor every night from eight to midnight,” Mia said, her voice smooth and echoing in the quiet room. “For five years, I sat in the corner waiting for her to finish.”

She turned, casually picking up her sneakers.

“I watched every private lesson you gave the elites. I reverse-engineered every combination you know.”

Mia walked over to her mother and gently took the mop from her shaking hands. She looked back at the broken sensei one last time.

**”Your left shoulder always dips when you’re desperate, Sensei.”**

Mia offered a razor-sharp smile.

**”And you were desperate.”**
