B&B Spoilers: Hope Must Break Free from the Forrester Drama and Start Fresh

Surely Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) didn’t think that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) would agree to give her daughter her job at Forrester Creations back, did she?

Did she really think that she could use her inside voice to soothe the man into thinking it was a good idea to bring Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) back into the family business?

The takeover of Forrester Creations was at the forefront of The Bold and the Beautiful for the past few months. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) tricked the Forester family into signing over the company to him through an LLC, and his girlfriend, Hope, was along for the ride.

She spent months putting Carter on a pedestal and praising him for his dishonesty and for stealing the company right out from the family that had given him the job in the first place.

Eventually, guilt started to eat away at Carter, and he had to do the right thing; he gave the company back.

Sure, as part of the deal that he made with Ridge, his girlfriend and her line, Hope for the Future, would still have a place at Forrester, too.

Ridge initially agreed to the terms, but they were later vetoed by his daughter, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood)..

Hope was shown the door, and her line was canceled, while both Carter and Brooke were still offered a job with the company. Was it unfair, maybe a little. But Hope certainly hasn’t helped her case.

When Everyone Else Humbled Themself And Apologized, Hope Dug In Her Heels And Remained Defiant
Carter and Brooke have both acknowledged that what they did was wrong. Brooke has said all along that she took the job as CEO to give the company back to the love of her life, Ridge, and there’s no reason to believe that that’s not true.

Carter has admitted to feeling like a traitor and has wanted to make things right, and more importantly, he wants his best friend back. Instead of Hope seeing that what they did was wrong, she still continues to defend it.

She still thinks it was the right way to do things, and she has pushed back against the family. That is probably the main reason why she is out of a job.

She has given Ridge no reason to stand up to Steffy and to keep his promise to Carter. As Hope has run her mouth, it’s obvious that she’s not quite the person she used to be.

She used to stand for honesty, kindness, and doing the right thing. As the months have gone on, all of these qualities seem to have been lost.

Hope should be out of Forrester Creations, she does not belong there. But Hope should also want to pick herself up and start to build her own life differently.

The situation between her and Steffy is so toxic that it makes no sense for her to want to work with her ever again.

Maybe it’s time for her to start her own fashion house, one that would rival Forester Creations. Remember the days of Sally Spectra going toe-to-toe with the Foresters a couple of times a year? Maybe a new rivalry with Forrester Creations would give the show the shot in the arm that it needs.
